This was a present for the sweetest old lady ever! Her name is Carmen and I just needed to paint this for her as a Christmas present, I get the warmest hug in return!

this looks amazing
i love how the background is hazy and the shadow of the petals looks so real
great work, i can never get the amount of water in my brush right...

Yeah that water thingy is a pain, eh? it's a matter of balance I guess, if you have more water in the brush than on the paper the flowing goes towards the paper, if ther is less water in the brush then it doesn't go to the paper :) I'm still having hard time with that from time to time

Oh! Thank you :love:! I'd tried hard to save some whites here, glad it worked, though I had to use some masking fluid.
